About us - We are Media Cage, an agency passionate about podcasts.
We work with a variety of organisations, including magazines, charities and global institutions, providing audiences with compelling, original and innovative programming.
We use the very best audio production techniques to create bespoke podcasts that will personally connect with the people most important to you, be it through branded content or original shows.
Media Cage can provide a comprehensive podcast service, consisting of content creation, recording, editing, podcast distribution and analysis, music licensing and talent procurement.

INITIAL CONSULTATION
Establishing your objectives.
Creating a publicity strategy for your podcast through social media and other achievable avenues.
PRE PRODUCTION
Creative consultation on script and structure.
Any other planning and content based preparation eg. arranging guests, sourcing a presenter (presenter fee separate).
RECORDING
Remote recording from home,
or we bring the studio to you.
Alternatively we can source a convenient location.
Our own studio is based in Sussex.
MARKETING MATERIAL
We can provide Infographics relating to an upcoming episode (eg. "Tweetables", episode pull quotes) and highlight audio clips to tease the podcast.
POST PRODUCTION
Following your feedback from the rough cut, we'll apply all the necessary treatment
(filters, EQs, etc.) before adding music beds.
After your final approval, the podcast will be ready for distribution!
EDITING
We specialise in audio production, utilising cutting edge software and studio equipment to make each and every show sound the best it can be.
We'll get your podcast online and available on the major podcast platforms - Apple, Spotify, Google, Stitcher etc.
Create a hosting account & RSS feed and provide podcast metadata.

TOM EVANS - Content Director
Media Cage founder and Content Director, Tom Evans, has over 18 years experience in professional audio production.
As a producer, he has worked for some of the country’s biggest radio brands including Heart FM, Capital FM and the BBC, winning a Sony Award and a handful of Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards across a successful career.
Tom is also a regular broadcaster and can be heard on various stations across the country (follow him at @tomevanstweets or @tomevansradio on Instagram).
LYNSEY BARTLETT - Executive Producer
Lynsey has over 20 years’ experience as a SONY award winning presenter, producer and journalist.
For the main part of her career, she produced and presented shows for Global Radio before becoming a successful freelance journalist .
Lynsey is a passionate podcast advocate and the driving force behind all of our creative concepts here at Media Cage.
KERRY COBB - Producer
Kerry is one of the industry's most experienced producers, creating radio programmes and podcasts for nearly two decades!
Alongside her work at Media Cage, she produces for Global, Silverstone Radio, British Superbikes, Radio LeMans, as well as holding the title of Director at Radio Verulam.
TOBY LEEMING - Composer / Sound Designer
Want to stand out from the crowd? Toby is the guy that will make your podcast sound unique and give you music, fills and stings designed to fit your brand and style not available from library music.
Along with extensive experience in audio production, music sync and composition, Toby writes original theme compositions for podcasts, enabling each show to stand out from the crowd. He specialises in all things electronic but can create themes across all genres from simple ballads to high energy anthems.
